I currently use version 6.0.2 and have an M-Audio connectiv as my soundcard to use my CD players as control. Usually not a problem, but this past weekend I had a problem with the music stopping about 3 hours into a gig. I could not get any audio coming out of Cue until I did a reboot. Any ideas as to why it would do this?

That is strange. I use a Connectiv as well and I don't have any issues with it. I wonder if the laptop happened to overheat. That happened to me once and rebooting it solved the problem.

Hey 1DJwillie,
can you tell me how the crash appears?
VDJ close complete, freeze ....... with or without a crash report?
What have you done, at the moment the crash appears?
Check your performance adjustments.
Presets -> Absolut to the left (fastest or MAX one step to the right)
Latency > AUTO
Savemode & Overclock > disabled
Scratch > Quality & Simple Algo
48-44 > Basic Interpolation (low pass is only needed when you use Videos.)
Master Tempo > Fast
Please check also in the soundcard config, Ultra Latency must be disabled.
Did you use the latest driver from m-audio?
Did you use Vista or XP?
How are specs from your Notebook?
See you
Haui
PS:I own also a conective;-)

Nothing happens with Cue except that no audio come out of the connectiv. I can play a CD and hear it through the connectiv, but nothing from Cue. Weird!

Then i'm be sure you have a fault with the settings.
The CD is playing where?
You have an CD-Player on Input 1?

Had this problem for the first time last night.
Basically its like the computer temporarilly undetects the soundcard, and sometimes when you plug and unplug the box back in the driver freezes and although the pass through works (as there is power going through the device) timecoding or playback doesn't work.
Did you ever find a solution to this?
