Has any been able to get this combination to work. My HC4500 shows up as a soundcard only.

hey listen....im not having the same problem but i need help too.....
i have win 7 on my pc and im having a hard time playing videos.....they load no prob....but when i play it freezes and just plays the music......any and all tips will be welcome.....
