I've been wanting to set some new effects i've downloaded to some buttons i dont use that often on my hercules steel. I have virtual dj v 5.2 and I. for example, want to set TexZK's filters to button 2. How do i do this?

Sorry, VirtualDJ v5.2 does not support custom mapping of controllers (Unless you are a programmer and create your own DLL plugin, which is very complicated.)
If you upgrade to VirtualDJ v6 (Which is free from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html because you have purchased VirtualDJ Pro) then you will be able to map the buttons to any function of your choice, using the new VDJscript mapping feature: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJscript.html
For some common VDJscript mapping examples, including how to map effects, please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJScript%20Examples.html
