Sujet: How Do I Export My Music Library As .CSV or .TXT

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hello,

I am using Virtual DJ Pro version 6.0.5.

I currently have around 35,000 audio files on my computer.

Can someone tell me how I can export a list of all of the audio files (Artist & Song Title) as either a .csv file or a tab delimited text file.

I use Gigbuilder from wedj and I need to update my online music database, but I can not figure out how to export the list.

Thanks in advance,

Looking for the an answer to the same question. Would be nice if someone would respond please. Thanks.

This should be an easy thing to do. The VDJ is an XML like Database so you just can import it to something like Excel or OpenOffice Calc. There you remove all the fields you do not need and format it the way you want.

We've had a similar question on the Dutch forum. This answer would have been easier ;)
But searching for a program that can do tis job I run into TagScanner. It's freeware and scans your entire collection and can print or save the results in several formats.

Hey guys,

I wrote an app that can, among other things import the VDJ database and export it as HTML, CSV or WInAmp playlist (m3u)

The app and the source code can be found here:

I have tested the app, and a few other djs here have a copy, but it has not been widely tested. There is no install, so you just need to download the app and make sure that MS .NET Framework 2.0 is installed. If you have questions feel free to bug me.

JamesWjRose,
That link to your APP does not work. I am guessing it is expired. Do you have a new link that you could post?

That was made 7+ years ago for v6, and v8 was a complete rewrite, so I doubt it would work

But one of these options may help you:
