Hi,
A Couple of weeks ago during a gig vdj just stopped and the message on the denon unit said pc disconnected..
I re-booted my pc and started again only for the same thing to happen.., I thought it may have been a hard drive starting to fail
so I changed both my external and internal drive and everything was fine until last weekend, the same happened.
Fortunately I always bring a laptop as a backup, when I connected everything, it all worked fine.
This sort of put the question of the controller being faulty out of my mind, I wonder is it the mobo in my pc starting to give or just the usb ports?
Has anyone ever had such a problem?

No problems at all in 2 years.
Sounds like a dodgy USB cable, you can also check device manager to make sure Windows is not shutting down the USB port to save power.
Is it happening after a certain time or just randomly?

Hi,
I was finding it strange it happened all of a sudden.., I purposely built the pc and had no trouble with it until a couple of weeks ago..
Used the same usb cable on my laptop no problems.., the more I think about it, it's probably a faulty usb on the pc..
