VirtualDJ - v3.0 whats the difference between v2.1

is there any difference between v3.0 and v2.1 besides the videos loading faster(any new options added) let me know. i wanted 2 know how 2 record my mix 4 some reason it says an error about "can't open mp3 encoder" when i press record any suggestions
