Hi I tried to do and up date of software update_virtualdj_v3.0.exe. and I am geting a error message that reads.
virtualdj.exe - inable to locate component
This application has failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem
I have re installed the software still geting error message
Please help than you
PS. the above message comes out when starting virtual dj verything downloads ok

Try to completely remove VDJ. First uninstall it, then remove HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/VirtualDJ
Then install VDJ again and it should work fine. Otherwise contact e-servis.

I did removed the software completly and still doing the same

Install the newest DirectX (9.0c?)
If you have it installed already, reinstall it because part of it is either missing or unable to be located by Windows.

Easy way: use RegCleaner and search for it.

Be carefull not to change anything else in the registry; else you could make your system crashed.

that's a directx error reinsall directx9c
