Hi There Guys,
New To The Forum, Infact Reason For Joining Was To Ask This Question...

I Have Just Bought The Denon Hc4500 And Im Wondering What The Best Software/Firmware To Use Is.

To Me It Looks Like This Is

"Jp Boggis Mapper With VDJ V5.2 & Sys1006 Firmware"

But Im Just Wondeinh Will It All Work 2gether, I Know The Mapper Works Great With V5.2 Of VDJ But Will It Still Work As Well With The Sys1006 Firmware Update, If Not What Version Of The Firmware Works Best.

Would Really Like Some Help With This... Thx In Advance

If you are considering buying VDJ then the current version is 6.1.2 and the DLL mappers like the JP Boggis one are now obsolete. There is a new custom mapping module in VDJ which gives the HC-4500 standard mapping and this can be greatly expanded upon with VDJ script to suit your own needs. I have been using the HC-4500 this way for many months and it's excellent.

The current 6.1.2 trial can be downloaded here: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/trial.html

As far as Denon firmware is concerned, it's always better to install the most recent version. The SYS1006 update dealt with an issue where in some cases the sound cut out while playing after a couple of hours due to a midi error which is now resolved.

If you're planning to use a cracked version of VDJ and an illegally downloaded mapper then I'm afraid I can't help.
