does anyone know how to get the pioneer cdj900s to work using a usb hub since my mac only has 2 usb slots, i need to use one of the slots for my extrenal hardrive for my songs.

dose the vj 7 can read cdj 900??????? you need to use multi usb connection an active one (with electric) i use the kensington 7 ports of usb

the last version of vdj i could use my cdj 900's i hope that the new version can. but how would i use the usb hub?? just plug in both cdj's to the hub and my external hardrive to the other usb port on the comp.???

yes, plug your hub to the usb port that is closer to you, not to the one that closer to the screen and use a good powerd hub.

i tried that and it didnt work, i called VDJ and had them set up an aggrigate device and all kinds of config ways, nothing worked, ANY IDEAS???? i would like to access all my files on my hardrive....

hi, you don't need to use two usb ports for the cdj900. just plug in one usb and use the link cable for the cdj 900 or 2000 to link both cdjs. then your time code / songs on a pen drive can be played on both sysytems.

ill try that tomorrow and see if that works, so are they both going to be in link mode and just one of them is connected to the macbook?

it didnt work. both cdj 900's need to be connected to the computer USB. any other suggestions????

I had the same problem today when I tried to use them for the first time.
You need to download an aggrigator patch from pioneer http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/support/software/CDJ-900/index.html#download_254
this will differenciate both cdj900's so you can use both sound cards.
There is a fix for both mac and windows on that link as well as instructions and latest firmware for the cdj's :)
