Can anyone seriously just map the damn xone dx with vdj 7!!? I already posted an old question before but nobody has seen to get back to me.
I expected more from the vdj forum as you guys are supposed to be masters at customizing midi's. But ive been checking for months now..I'am calling you guys out! i am not good at mapping and all that nerdy stuff, i really love vdj, but if not map soon ill move to traktor..so hurry up!!!

Well maybe no one else uses it. Or there isn't a big demand for it so its on the back burner. And instead of "calling people out" you could be brushing up on your scripting skills. And while yes there are many masters here the majority is average joes like you and me................also threatening to switch to Traktor isn't gonna move anybody along any faster.......

...Hello guys...just bought the Xone:DX too and would love to have a mapping...I start now programming it...unfortunautly I am unexperienced...I posted some help request on the German Website already and plan to start doing it tonight..
...it's a bit trickey...working with "Key" Learning is not working well on everything, because the Mapper can't distinguish e.g. the right and left side Play/Pause Button. For both buttons it returns the same code...so we need to work with a device file to check the Midi Codes...
...guess it will take some time...will keep you posted and appreciate any help...
Regards Giuseppe

Hi Charlesaca2002, i'm making a mapping files for XONE:DX with PC/MAC version and it is working great i have already tested on both flatforms i'm just trying to finalized the headphone and effects mapping which is hard for me. Also my second project after these could be to develop a real xone:dx skin will be more exciting project. cheersss..... but i'm not happy with the VJD software engineers support it seems to me that they are lack of knowledge when it comes to developer side. All the times when you get the answer you have to dig up and discover what he was saying was different than your are asking.

It wouldn't work with your LE version of VDJ anyway ;)

3rd party sharing is not permitted on the VirtualDJ forums.
Mappers and other add-ons can be shared via our official add-ons download page: http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/index.html
However, as above, you will need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Professional to be able to download and use mappers.
Your VirtualDJ LE entitles you to a discount.

I love Allen & Heath's sound quality but those jog wheels are a joke (I hated them on my old Xone 3D) so for that reason I didn't buy a DX, I'm pretty sure many other people were put off for the same reason so there does not seem like there's high demand for the unit to be mapped. I almost considered picking one up recently after seeing how cheaply priced they were but I opted on going for a Denon controller instead so it looks like I will not be getting the chance to map myself any time soon.
I remember that mapping my Xone 3D was pretty easy, I would imagine the DX would be the same.
Anyway, you would need a Pro license to use the mappers like the previous posters mentioned.
