Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hi,

I would like to know what headphones are good for DJing. Right Now I have a Pair of Numark HF-125 and I dont really like them(they hurt my ears and the sound is not great). Anyone have any Ideas?

Thx,

Sennheiser - I still use the hd25sp cans I got when I first started djing 15+ years ago - have needed 2 new cables and worn out the velour pads twice but the cans and band are still original and work like new after years of abuse - incredible!! When I first got them I was disappointed expecting them to last a month or two. Turns out they were by far the best value piece of dj kit I have ever purchased.

ones that work?

Exactly!

The original HD25's were brilliant, but the newer ones are made in China and are crap. My original pair still have the "made in Ireland" logo printed on the headband. The price has gone up on them big time too.

Although the actual cans are bulletproof, the weak point is where the pins plug in to the cans, they keep coming loose and the pads wear through in no time as well.

I gave my original pair to my little boy as he wanted decent headphones and I bought another pair for my gigs, but the second pair were nowhere near as well made as the first pair from 10 years ago. I ended up butchering both pairs and taking the best from each to make one good pair that still work.

For my gigs now I use the Pioneer HDJ-2000. They are superb!

Interesting, I think I have the ones that are made in Ireland but I'm going to check now. Thanks for that!
