Brand new mac Book Pro (got it saturday) and New V7's. but with VDJ Pro 7.02 and I get really bad sound distortion when the motor is on. If I turn the motor off, it cleans up, and I can turn the motor back on and it's good, but I cant mix with them. This does not happen on my Wintel PC. I used to have a NS7, and it did this also, so I want back to v 6 and all way good.

A lot of people have found that the drivers from the Numark site are not that good with both the NS7 and V7 controllers. They have installed either the latest Itch (1.7.1) or Itch 1.5. The drivers that install from those versions seem to be better.

F0r what it is worth there is now a Serato Itch 2.0.0 that also installs usable drivers and they seem to work ok. Sometimes I can play quite awhile without any distortion then sometimes is happens within minutes of playing. At a recent GIG I started having issues, so during an announcement break I decided to just play a 1 hour mix I had already made. During that hour the sound never distorted one time. I played that hour long mix on DECK A (left) and Scratch the entire hour on DECK S (right). I seem to only encounter the sound distortion issue when I'm using both DECKs to mix / blend. Another strange thing I noticed is the first 3 months I had the V7s, I never once had ANY sound issues. In fact I was even using a Core 2 / 2 Gig laptop with my OLD Numark DXM06 mixer. LOL so now that I'm using an Intel I7 / 8 Gig Memory (Ferrari of a laptop) along with my Xone2:02 (Allen & Heath) mixer, I start having sound issues. SO for grins I go back to the OLD mixer and old laptop and still have the sound issues... WTH???

i have the same problem thought it was just me. I talked to the techs at virtual dj and they say my system was fine it was probally a problem with the deck. I talk to numark and they have no anwser. would like to know if u found out anything differnt
