Sujet: Timecode CD setup; 0% quality...WHY?!

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

OK guys, so I'm really struggling here with my timecode setup and any help would be massively, and I mean massively, appreciated.

Setup as follows:

2 X KAM KCD400 CDJs
1 X Behringer 3 channel DX626 (although I don't think this is necessary to be specified)
2 X TCCDs burnt as audio CDs using iTunes (no normalisation setting etc)
MAYA 44 USB soundcard
VDJ 5.2 Pro

I've looked into loads of different guides on setting it up in VDJ and everything seems to be as it should. But when I hit play on my CDJs, I do get a response so my PC is picking something up, but even after I hit the 'autoconfig' button, it still remains 0%

The reason I specified so much about the TCCDs in the setup list I have a feeling that maybe it's the way I'm burning the CDs perhaps? Is there a particular format? The only reason I haven't tried this yet is because on this website where you download the TC mp3, it doesn't specify much about burning the CDs other than to not have a normalisation setting (which I definitely didn't have on btw). I've also tried using the professional TC mp3 as well and this appeared to not solve the situation.

Any ideas or suggestions will be absolutely great. And just for the record, try not to bombard me with too many complicated terms etc as I'm pretty new to all of this timecode jibber jabber. ;-)

Thanks again, Mihill.

VDJ 5.2 is now very old (July 2008) and has been replaced by several newer versions.

If you have purchased VDJ Pro please register your serial number and download the latest version from this site.

Alternatively, the free home version can be downloaded and you can trial your timecodes for 10 minutes before reverting back to the home version.

You will require to have VDJ Pro for timecode use.
