I've noticed that while one song is playing, VDJ seems to freeze for a second or two while loading the other deck. The freezing does not affect the sound, but seeing my screen freeze is troubling to me. I run VDJ 7 through a Hercules RMX. Is there a problem, and if so, what's the fix?

Do you use an external USB HD ? Actually you don't have to worry about it. Sometimes USB HD by default they sleep if they are not in use for a few seconds or minutes. Your system then, uses all the resources to make that HD go back in business, and VDJ gives priority to sound, rather to screen graphics.

Some Skin Will Do That But Its Ok Along As It Does Lock Up For The Time Of The Song.

Ahhhh! I DO use an external hard drive. That makes sense. Ok, as long as it isn't a problem that I need concern myself with. Thank you!
