Sujet NI Audio 2 DJ sound setup...advice/help please

I'm running VDJ Pro Full on a mid 2010 13" MacBook Pro ((2.4GHz core two duo, 8 gigs RAM, 128gig SSD) with the NI Audio 2 DJ as the sound card. I can't figure out how to get VDJ to recognize it as 2 sound cards even though it's specs say it can be used that way or as 1 sound card w/1 headphone out. It only shows up as Audio 2DJ, no indication of it being 2cards or being able to be used as such. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Try the following:

Inputs: None
Outputs: Headphones
Sound card: 4 out card -> Choose the Audio 2 DJ in the drop-down list.

Click Apply.

I'll have to give it a shot...not sure if it will distinguish between the two channels though.

Numark DJIO is a 4-out (4.1) card, so choosing 4 out card should do this.

If not, you may need to configure it for 4 channel audio via MacOS's Audio MIDI utility.

Reply back if the above doesn't work and you need further instructions on how to configure it for 4 channel audio.

Hi all!

I would like to understand from Tyger2204 if he was able to make Mac recognize his Audio 2 sound card with his Macbook.
I have a Mac book pro and I think I have the same problem.

There is a way to use correctly Audio 2 sound card + Virtual Dj + Macbook pro?

I would like to understand from the support staff or someone which is the correct way to configure 4 channel audio via MacOS's Audio MIDI utility.
