Sujet New Computer

I am getting a new computer specifically for the purpose of DJing with VDJ. I really don't want to get a mac as I have always used PCs, but I am not sure which PC to get. I am looking to spend somewhere around $1,500, but can go alittle over if needed. I was thinking of getting either a 17" Dell XPS with 8 gig ram, 1 tb hard drive, and core i7 @ up to 3.4 gigahertz, or a 14" Alienware with 4 gig ram, 500 gig hard drive, and the same processor.

Any suggestions?
