Dj Space Cookie
Hi, i'm really new to Dj'ing and well i wouldn't call myself a DJ at the moment :)
I'm looking for some inspiration for some mixes and stuff...
So what are the mixes that you ALWAYS perform like i mean your fave mix.
I do:
Alborosie - Sound killa // Damian Marley - Welcome to Jamrock
Bob Marley sample from an interview // Damian Marley - Confrontation // Stephen Marley - Chase Dem // Damian Marley - Khaki Suit
^^ Yes your probably wondering how the cabbage will that sound good. Well it's kinda hard. After it says "The president of this and that", I launch Bob marley and forward to the "Since the dawn of modern civilisation" bit of Confrontation.
Then at "True meaning of One love" I launch Chase dem. Then i load up Khaki suit and just have the guy saying "None other than the mighty bounty killer" every 4 bars.

when i was getting into DJ iing, i always listened to many songs and i picked the ones that sounded better. Its all about experimenting.

I always like a nice bass beat song and blend it with Stereo love with the chorus when Vika starts to sing :)
