I would like to know if you can use the Rane SL soundcard with the Virtual Dj Pro softwear?
Anyone tried it?
I'm using the Hercules Trim + VDJ 7 , but it doesn't come near to Rane SL + Serato Scratch Live.
I like VDJ better than Serato Scratch Live, that's why i would combine the 2.

I used SL3 with VDJ. The sound card ASIO drivers consume too much CPU and VDJ will crash. So it's not recommended.
 
So I guess my question would be, why is it the SL3 a dj soundcard?....Does Serato use that much less RAM or CPU than VDJ?...I dunno just asking......

I agree, they eat up alot of CPU compared to my NI Audio 8 card. Ive never had a crash while using the SL3 but its a big enough difference for me to take notice.........

The NI being the Mercedes right ;-)
 
Last time I checked NI gear was manufactured in Germany!
 
 
Hi Guys!

I have a huge problem, please support me!

I'm using VDJ 7 on MacBook Pro (i7 strongest one) with RANE SL4 sound card. I have 2 Pioneer CDJ-2000, with the mixer DJM-800.
I would like to use VDJ with 4 decks, managed by the CDJ's. Deck1 & Deck2 works perfectly, but 3&4 is in silent. What I'm doing wrong?

The sound card setup are the same for each deck's, the deck's lights are flashing when I'm playing the music, just the sound don't comes out to the mixer.

Do you have any idea how to solve this stupidity?

Tomorrow I'm playing in the party in Hungary where I'm will build up a full sound & lights, and it will be great to get solution!

There are a lot of things you can do to solve your issue... However I would advise you to either register your VirtualDj PRO Full licence, or buy the original software first. From a guy that can afford a SL box, 2 CDJ2000 and a DJM800 I would expect him to use orinal software!
Other than that you should describe us how you hooked up everything together and what sound setup you have done inside the configuration of VirtualDj. This will speed up a lot the troubleshooting process...
 
I CANT SEEM TO GET MY PC TO READ THE SL4, I WANT TO USE IT AS A SOUND CARD 4 VIRTUAL DJ>>>>> ANYHELP ON WHAT I COULD DO, IS THERE ANY SOFTWARE INVOLVED N WHERE CAN I FIND IT! I HAVE BEEN USING THE ASIO WITH THE SL1 AND IT WORKERD FINE, HAV AN SL4 NOW N CANT GET CONNECTED!!!! HELPPPPPPP
