Hey ive just recently went crazy finding a bunch of new effects for virtual dj but im having some problems!
The Effects that i have downloaded for the most part work great! but there are a few that do not work :( ive went into the system folder and deleted the ones that werent working(im not sure the reason why they dont work, no big deal really) but when i open up virtualdj again the effects are still listed even though i deleted them(or atleast thought i did).
The question i am asking is how can i clean up my effects menu so that only the ones that work/i want to keep stay. cause it can be a pain when im trying to scroll through. thanks so much!
Also if there is anywhere else i can get effects/samples/plugins for free (legally) other then here i would also be interested! thanks again!
*****also also. ive noticed in the sound effects folder there are some effects that are only one file and others that are 2(a .dll and another file named the same thing. not sure if this helps) but the ones with only one file dont work!

you need to delete both files to get rid of unwanted vst effects, I think that second file is what vdj creates to use it, Just google "free vst filter" but what ever effect you are after

okay i realize that. but even when i go into system settings/sound effects and delete the sound effects individually, they still show up in virtual dj when i open it up.

i know it doesnt seem that important but when doing a show it makes things a lot easier and i would appreciate some help! thanks so much.

I gave you the answer, I tried it on 20 vsts that I don't use... all of them are successfully deleted. Not sure if you know but vsts can only be used in pro, so if your trying to delete effects from the le version, this won't work
