Hi there,
First of all thanks a lot for taking the time to help me. Here it is:
I have my Win XP running Virtual DJ 7.0 pro, and the Hercules MK4 connected. My problem is that I'm not able to prelisten to the tracks on my headphones as I could on my previous laptop.
Basically, channel 1&2 goes to the speakers connected to the console, and 3&4 to my headphones and there is no way to listen to the other channel or to mix them at all. My settings are
Inputs none.
Outputs external mixer --> Deck 1 Chan 1&2. Deck 2 Chan 3&4.
Sound Card Hercules MK4.
Im pretty sure it is something silly but just cant figure it out. Maybe something to do with the ASIO driver?
Thanks
Ricardo

If thats a MIDI controller why do you have external mixer picked?? Switch it to the picture of the speaker and headphones, then next to that choose master out 1/2 and 3/4 headphone. Leave everything the same and it should work.
Let us know if that works for you

Right on buddy. Thanks so much, that hit the spot!! Back to mixing now heheheh.
It is weird, Im sure I had it set up as an external mixer before.. oh well. Now, I just had to map my PFL buttons. I dont know why, they had the action LISTEN assigned which is none of the ones that you can choose. So I changed to the action PFL and now it works like a charm, my only problem is that when I press one of the PFL buttons, either LISTEN A or LISTEN B on my console, the previous channel I was listening to stays on so I get the two channels on my headphones.
What I mean is that before, when I pressed for example... LISTEN A, then LISTEN B would come off and therefore I only would listen to, lets say, channel A. Now I have to press LISTEN B so it doesnt come on my headphones anymore. Im sure that with a silly mapping I can fix it, oh well. Any idea?
Again, thanks so much, you already solved my main problem.
