hi, i got the numark mixdeck and i downloaded all the updates and install the traktor cd and all that. i got vdj pro 7. i went to mix with my mixdeck using the vdj. and when i got to config. sound setting. where the pu and inputs are. well there's nothing that says mixdeck or its all normal basic stuff that vDj normal have on it.
but i did it on my windows and it all worked fine.
idk if i got to download some special software for it to work on my mac. if so let me know. i did everything that is suppose to be done to make the mixdeck working with the vdj. but nothing shows up...I NEED HELP FAST!!!!!!!

On your Mixdeck did you change your source to USB/Midi if not you need to click on your source button & use the parameter knob to change it to usb/midi and then press down on your parameter button so that it selects it...Then open up VDJ & go to your setting & set it to external mixer & set numark as the sound card & you should be all set 2 go..

Same problem here. I installed the latest version of VDJ, updated the Mixdeck's drivers and firmware. Still, nothing. I'm rather furious, considering I just spent $700 on something that doesn't work. Any help would be great.

It doesn't appear that you have followed the above link correctly because you still appear as an unlicensed user and are most likely running an out-of-date or incorrect version of the software.
Please register your VirtualDJ LE serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest VirtualDJ LE from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

Make sure that you run the software via the VirtualDJ LE icon in MacOS Applications, not a shortcut on your desktop or dock which may be pointing to another version such as Home FREE.
If the problem persists with both the latest VirtualDJ LE installed and the firmware updated on the MixDeck, there may be a fault with it. Please contact Numark support for advice: http://www.numark.com
