Sujet While I Realize...

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

While I realize that the actual guide is out there, I still haven't been able to find an exact guide as to what programs/processes ect... should I disable from my Windows 7 64 bit OS in order for Virtual Dj to run smoother without stuttering. I've already disabled my Bluetooth, Wireless card, and webcam and still, I'm receiving red spikes on the Latency Checker. Any direct suggestions as to what else to do?

I want to devote my laptop just for the sake of Virtual Dj, so I need everything I can to make performance surpass the expectations.

Any help appreciated :)

The red spikes could mean you just need to update a driver and not have to disable it. I'm still with Vista (if it aint broke dont fix it, lol) but I had a red spike too every now and then, turned out I needed to update a driver. Now its back to smooth sailing.

What driver was the one you needed to update? I hate the fact that my performances quality depends on my computers CPU usage. I swear it's like it knows your in the middle of a gig so it decides to start checking for updates and use memory in other areas WHEN ITS NOT NEEDED at the moment. :( ... I'm beginning to see why CDJs used with CD's , or usbs rather than a computer is more reliable. No need to depend on a computer :(
