Sujet: CDJ 350 config

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hi, ive got 2* cdj 350 connected to laptop with virtualdj.
The djm-350 i have is not connected, do i need to connect that one to?

But having a problem to configure it right.

Input: I choose timecodes, but only options is chan 1&2 deck 1 chan 3&4 deck 2 or oposite.
Tried both, but then both cd players go on 1 channel. I need them to go on 1 channel each.

Output i choose: single output

Sound card: ASIO driver

any sugd? so i can get the players to work on 1 deck each in the program.

Thx

You need to provide much more info before anyone can help!

You say your CDJs are "connected to the laptop". How? USB? RCA?

You're choosing timecode input. Are you using timecode CDs? In that case you need to connect the CDJs with an audio cable to a suitable sound card. What sound card are you using?

If you're trying to use the CDJs as MIDI controllers, then you shouldn't be selecting anying from the "input" area.

Likewise with the output selection. If you're using your CDJs with USB cables then you should be selecting external ASIO sound and using your CDJ sound cards.

The more info you give, the simpler it'll be to give an answer....

as said above by groovindj...cdj350 are midi controllers and have their own built in asio soundcards routed to the cdjs rca outputs, natively supported by vdj..go to pioneer site download the lates drivers install them...connect the cdjs to your computer via usb cables...and at the sound configuration...timecodes-none,outputs-external mixer, sound card-pioneer asio...connect to the mixer via rca cables and you are ready to go...plus you must own legally the pro version of virtual dj software

Hi,
I'm new to the forum so first of all hello everybody!

Looked on here a few times and picked up some good advice but I'm still having trouble with my cdj 350s connecting to VDJ 7, they work fine changing from PC to disc or from USB to disc but when I try to change from PC to USB everthing cuts out! I have synced the usb ports on my laptop to each player (it's an HP running windows 7 with loads of memory, the laptop is used for music only and 99% is stored on external hard drive), I have also named the CDJs seperately but still no luck, any ideas anyone?
