I just recently bought a MacBook Pro, OS Lion, and I'm trying to use my Mixdeck with Numark Cue V 7.0.5
I have downloaded all the Drivers and Updates from the Numark page, and my Mixdeck is not being detected or show up on the "mappers" in the CONFIG menu of the CUE program, but when i plug in my TOTAL CONTROL, that can be detected. How can i fix this problem?

Did you also install the latest firmware?
It's possible that something on your system is conflicting with it.
Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/midinotdetected.html
Also, try using a different USB cable and/or different USB port of your computer. Make sure that you plug it directly into your computer, not via a USB hub (NOTE: An unpowered USB hub may not provide sufficient power to run a bus-powered controller that does not have its own separate power supply.) If your computer has USB 3 ports, try using a USB 2 port (The controller may not be compatible with USB 3.)

just did all of the FOLLOWING...updated latest firmware, and still no detection on the MIXDECK
its plugged in into its own UBS slot, and its not the particular usb slot cause i switched it around and it detects my TOTAL CONTROL on all my USB slots.
tried a diff usb cable and no detection as well.
I dunt know wat to do?

im having the same problem, i bought the mixdeck a while ago, it worked for the first few days with vdj le, but then once it ran out i got the full version of vdj and it was having trouble loading vdj when the mixdeck was plugged in, it would just freeze and stop loading when it said "initializing sound engine..." so i tried using it with traktor and it would just freeze during startup as well, but now both softwares will load completely but neither will even recognize that the mixdeck is plugged in, so im stuck and dont know what to do, ive tried re installing all the drivers and the softwares themselves, but nothing changes, and the firmware is up to date as well,

This sounds like a hardware problem with the MixDeck.
We would suggest contacting the manufacturer Numark support for advice: http://www.numark.com
Also, if you have the full VirtualDJ Professional, please register it on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and download the latest version from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html - Or purchase it from http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html (MixDeck entitles you to a significant discount.)

With OSX 10.6 and higher this will help with get it recognized. I hope its not repetitive for you but it has helped others:
1. Using the “Numark Driver Remover” remove Driver version 2.0.2.
2. Restart*
3. Download driver 1.6.9 and install.
4. Restart
5. Remove driver 1.6.9 using the “Numark Driver Remover”
6. Restart
7. Install driver 2.0.2
8. Restart
You will be forced to restart after the installation of new drivers.

No hardware will immediately work as expected if you don't do the settings properly sometime it needs some settings to be done in the "AUDIO MIDI SETUP. Thanks
