At one point in my mix, I start a track (to fade in) as soon as I start a 4 beat loop on the currently playing track.
The crossfader is all the way to the looping track as to make sure the quick beat match (or in this case, quick sync due to the small window of time i have to complete the mix) is not heard.
BUT, when I click the sync button on the Numark Mixtrack Pro when I record the mix, I do not hear anything wrong while mixing the tracks, but in the recording when the sync button in pressed ON THE CONTROLLER, I can hear a skip, which doesn't make sense because the track being sync'd hasn't even been brought up yet, as in the cross fader is all the way to the loop'd track at that point.
If I use my mouse to click the sync button in VDJ on my screen this problem does NOT occur.
If you guys aren't really picturing the problem I can post a sample of some sort.

So it's not a problem with the sync button in VDJ then....
Bearing in mind this is the VDJ forum, and the tech support is for VDJ rather than for the Numark Mixtrack!

But it is connecting to VDJ and it only has the skip if I record the track using VDJ record button.
I just thought I'd ask here and Numark Forums to cover my bases.

You should look at the mapper at config/mappers/mixtrack and make sure that just sync is assigned to that key.
