Hi
Im having some problems with my audio 8 and virtual dj 7 pro. It used to work perfectly.. then one of the input channels (3/4 i think) on my audio 8 stopped working (broken). To over come this i used advanced audio setting in virtual dj to select my sound channels manually. I simply use channel 5/6 input on the audio 8 instead of 3/4 which has broken for my time code input (right deck)
now i have a problem that my left deck does not detect a strong time-code signal! it jumps all over the place 15%-48%-80%-22% etc etc. The right hand deck has a perfect 100%! to confuse matters its not the deck that is using channel inputs 5/6 like you would think, its channel 1/2 inputs which is the audio 8s default time-code input channel.
Last twist is if i setup the audio in virtual dj settings as you would usually with an audio 8, setting 2x timecode in drop down menu and default channels the left deck works perfectly again (but obviously because my 3/4 channel is broken i can only use one time code with the default settings)
To make sure its not a fault with any of my leads or the audio 8 i tried it on another computer and both left and right deck work perfectly with full time code signal! So its something to do with my laptop.
I have reinstalled virtual dj (with latest version), installed latest audio 8 drivers and removed all other sound card drivers i don't need. still no change.
its so wierd.. its almost as if the fault starts only when i start using the "advanced" sound option in virtual DJ.
Any ideas?
Thanks
