Sujet Denon s3700 or Numark v7

I've been a failrly long time user of Virtual DJ(since v5) and for a long time I used simply keyboard shortcuts. Back in February I purchased a Denon MC6000. I LOVE it, my only issue is the platter size. For scratching...it makes life terrible(in my opinion). So I decided come tax time, I'm going to upgrady my equipment. Originally I considered the NS7. But then I thought..."I already HAVE a mixer in my MC6000, so why spend $1200 if I can get 2 V7's for $1000 and use them in correlation with my MC6000". However, now, I'm starting to think, if I'm going to upgrade, I should probably UPGRADE. Aside from the moving platters, the v7 doesn't offer much that my MC6000 doesn't...actually I believe(off the top of my head) thats the only thing it offers.

The Denon s3700's (though more expensive) offer moving platters, ability to load CD's, and the ability to play directly off of a usb flash drive. Which I own several 32gb drives and currently only have about 25gb of music, so the option of 2 32gb drives having all my music and being able to mix without a PC(if I have to) does interest me. The keyboard port is also a plus if I were to be mixing without a computer. However the biggest con I see is the the layout of the v7 seems to be "easier" as far as Virtual DJ use than the s3700. In addition I hear the v7's are lighter and more accurate on scratching. Plus they offer 2 outputs for deck a and deck b is I was using 1 to control 2 decks or 2 to control 4 decks(im assuming?) and come bundled with serato itch. So here's where I turn to you. Which would you personally prefer and why? I've only played around with the s3700 so I don't know much about the v7's but I HAVE played around with the ns7 so I'm familiar to some extent with them.

First of all let me start by admitting that I am a huge Denon fan, I wasn't a big Numark fan based on the quality of some of my past (years ago) Numark purchases.

I have owned both the DN-S3700 and the Numark V7
Both basically have the same digital features but in my opinion I felt that the platter on the numark V7 responded better in MIDI mode, there was a bit of latency on the DN-S3700 platter in MIDI so there was no way you would be scratching with them in MIDI. I loved VDJ but it seems that most controllers I have tried (even touch sensitive) have latency issues with the platters.
Anyway I owned a pair of DN-S3700 before Denon released the firmware upgrade that allowed hybrid mode so I'm pretty sure the platter latency issue would be non existent in hybrid mode.

Bigger platter on the Denon
Denon has CD drive and USB ports so you are covered on all media storage solutions, no need for a computer.
The layout for me was better on the V7 but that's a matter of personal preference.
The V7 is heavier since its built like a tank, all metal case. DN-S3700 has plastics with metal on the bottom...I would say the V7 is about 8lbs heavier, research the specs on both.
Numark had a 2 deck in 1 design with 2 layers and dual sound card outputs ,you can control 2 decks in virtual DJ with 1 deck. DN-S3700 only 1 deck.
Numark V7 offers more MIDI controls.
Display on the Denon (The more information the better I say)
Needle search functions on the Numark (Came in handy for me)

Some other factors you may want to consider:
Top notch Denon quality but Numark has stepped up it's quality on the newer high end products like the NS6 V7 NS7
Top notch Denon design an manufacturing all done by Denon in Japan. Numark on the other hand uses a 3rd party manufacture in Taiwan to make its gear, can you really trust another company to do what's in the best interest of the company who is putting their name on the product?
If for some reason VDJ is acting upon you the V7 is a serato itch controller and you can always use it with itch as an alternative and in my humble opinion I think the V7 worked even better with itch.

They are both great, its hard to recommend one over the other.
The Denon fanboy inside of me would say buy the Denons but I think the smart buy would be with the V7, since you can basically 2 V7 for the price of one DN-s3700 depending on where you buy them.

I don't think you would be disappointing with either one, it's just comes down to a matter of preference.
