What do you guys think about the Behringer EUROLIVE B215D Active PA Speaker system? Would you recommend this for a newbie?

First of all where you can use the system for? I personally think Barringer is a fine company when it comes to mixer boards and some of the other devices however when it comes to PA systems it really is a matter of what kind of music you're in a play how big of her room and audience or that have and the quality of your sound card running to that PA. I once bought Barringer I owned it for about two weeks and returned it and then I purchased sonics. I preferred the company sonic they have a great warrantee and their sound quality is amazing and take a lot of abuse. If it's a PA system and it's coming down dirt cheap you probably can make it dirt cheap quality out of him not saying that Barringer is a bad company I'm just saying you do get what you pay for. What I would do is head over to your local guitar Center or any other music shop and see if they have it set up for you here and then don't be afraid to give it a good beading wire there they won't mind and then make a decision for yourself as a newbie I have learned that it is better to buy at the level that you expect to become then to buy at the level that you are now. Remember it always costs more upgrade than it does the buy right the first time.
That's my honest opinion and it also depends what you do if you just I do karaoke than its probably can be a great set up as a small and nuclear move it anywhere but if you plan on throwing any big shows or weddings I would probably look into something more massive. I'm not saying bigger is better but in some instances it is. For instance in my set up I run 215 inch sonics with horns for mid and high. Then I run 4 15 inch JBL sub woofers that also have chokes on them so that they never get into the higher frequencies. I also use a 5000 W amp just to run the sub woofers and then a 600 W amp just to run the highs and mids I also use a Barringer mixer in order to split the two signals to each amplifier. I bought these things after being a newbie for while and costing more to buy everything all over again and try to sell you stuff than had I just bought everything that needed right out of the gate.

Thanks a lot DJ Kaace! I will look into the ones you mentioned and I'll also do some more research to try to find what best fits me.
