I was wondering on other dj software I have used in the past I was able to listen to tracks in my library without loading them into the decks. I was only allowed to pre-listen to them not make and adjustments. So my question, Is there a way to pre-listen to tracks in your library without actually having to load them into one of the players?

There is a preview player at the bottom of the browser in VirtualDJ v7. Simply drag a track to it and click on the play button to listen to it.
You can also control it via mappings from a MIDI controller, keyboard shortcut, etc:
prelisten : pre-listen the selected track.
prelisten_output : set this deck to be used for the prelisten. Use 'prelisten_output "menu"' to display a context menu with the available outputs.
prelisten_pos : move the position of the prelistening.
