the 7 year old dell windows xp jus couldnt hack it anymore, especially for djing. so ended up getting a asus n53sv-xe1.
quad core i7 2.0 processor
4gb ram upgraded to 12gb total
500gb hard drive
15.6in display and windows7 64bit
all for less than 600, but enough bragging already ;)
im really excited about the new laptop and i cant wait till it gets here. but i know the transition phase is going to take some time n lot of work to get it running optimally. so i thought id ask for some advice on what i should prepare for.
some of my concerns:
-never used windows 7 before, coming from winxp. what to watch out for in differences or features?
-vdj7 and itunes,how to transfer music over without losing file infos (I do have an external hard drive)?
-cleaning out bloatware
-any other tips or tricks that could be of use?
