Hey everyone,
First off I apologise if this topic has been dealt with else where but I can't seem to find anything that answers the questions.
At the moment my DJ set up is Laptop, Virtual DJ, and a really cheap external soundcard that I used to mix my music. I'm going to be playing some club gigs in the next few weeks and I wanted to know what stuff I need to get hold off. I will be using the Mixers that the club has provided but if I'm being honest, I'm really not sure how it works. I've read up about needing to get certain cables and was thinking about getting hold of the traktor audio 2 soundcard. Basically I'm really needing someone to talk me through how I connect to the club mixers and ho this will alter my set up
thanks in advance!

you will need at least pro basic or broadcastor to be able to hook up a soundcard, but if you are using an audio 2, it will come with rca cables that you plug straight into the mixers line input, then just turn up the volume on the mixer, the audio 2 also allows you to sent two channels independantly to two different mixer channels so you can use the club mixer for what it\'s built for or you can use the internal mixer of vdj and use the second outut for headphones. It\'s a great sounding card I highly recommend it.
