Sujet: Using a Denon MC3000 alongside a standalone mixer?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Sorry but i got another noob question! I currently have a couple of residencies but right now have no set up at home and since I'll be new to virtual dj I need some practice.

I'm currently looking at getting a Denon MC3000 and using it a my sole controller for home use. However for club use, could I use time-coded CDs with CDJ 1000's with a xone 62/djm800 and use the xone/djm800 for mixing the audio, and just use the MC3000 to mix video and also control audio loops & effects? if not is there a better alternative? I dont want to get the mc3000 for home use and then also need a Traktor X1 and Korg nanokontrol for club use, seems a bit OTT.

Why not just spend the extra money and scoop up the 6000 and call it good.. Then you just run that into the clubs mixer and you wouldn't even have to mess with the cdjs. I suppose you could do the same with the 3000 but if it were me I'd just get the 6000.

I'm sure others will chime in....

I think you're right beatbreaker, its only £100 more for the 6000 in the UK too. Though I'd still use the CDJs with the 6000 in the club. For VDJ does anything else come close to the 6000? I need 4 channels (but could live with2 faders) and the ability to use with or without CDJs. i think a record/booth out is the only thing the 6000 lacks.

Or the Numark NS6 but then the price goes up alittle more.

Wrong assumption, the MC6000 does have a separate Booth out with eq. Booth/Send at bottom right of picture :)
