I am at work right now so I can't give you the specs on my computer. But I do know they more than exceed the requirements. When I load a track into a deck and start playing it, it is as if it is trying to play faster than it will load. So, the music sounds like it is skipping. When I look at the sound graph where the track is loading, it has "holes" in the sound graph wave. I hope that is making sense. I am on wireless and when I get home, I will try to disable my wireless LAN and connect a ethernet cable since I DJ over the Internet. I am just curious if what I am experiencing is what the latency is causing?

After I got home, I used the Common PC Performance Issues (there is a Mac version also) located here: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Performance%20Issues.html
Even though this is for the Hercules, I also used this as a guideline also to optimize my laptop http://ts.hercules.com/faqs/eng/her_eng_00364.pdf
It worked. I have a laptop that is dedicated to DJing over the internet. So, I did have to buy a ethernet cable to connect to the router. But, it is working.
