I am placing a brand new Dell laptop into use. It has Windows 7. I have searched this site numeroustimes and I have found numerous tweaks and optimizations designed for older Windows but can't seem to find any for Windows 7. Can anyone help me?

That is because most tweaks are for Windows in general. But on the Common PC-optimalisation page there are some W7-tweaks regarding Aero: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Common%20PC%20Performance%20Issues.html
