It worked before. All scroll text features flash the text, including the titler, Firetext, Pangolin, SBDJ. Only the regular text stays. It is not timed, as all plug-ins flash at a different rate. Re-installed VDJ so it's not that. By the way, the yellow bar on the titler stays solid, only the text flashes.

Not sure at the moment mate. Resources are reasonably limited as I'm stuck in hospital at the moment but I'll see what I can work out.
Does ScrollText 2 flash?
I've got a beta of 2.1 in testing at the moment - that definitely should not flash due to the new font engine and rendering method.

It's not the one plugin, but all the scrolling text plugins. Firetext, Pangolin, titler, SBDJ scroll text. Scott, I don't know if it's you or your son, but my problem is not that important. Take care of you and your family.
If anyone else can help, jump in. I do not think it's VDJ, but something else on the computer that was turned on or off.
