Im wanting to start doing some music video editing on my music videos, just trying to figure out which software to get, there is so many out there just want to know what everyone out there is using and what ya recommend? Really just starting off so dont want anything complex but also wanting to get quality editing out of my videos, so just want to get an idea before i jump into this area and lose my mind and money, thanks in advance for all your help!!

It is a little easier to use than Sony Vegas. I have also had some issues editing VJ Pro videos in Sony Vegas 10.. Not all videos from them, just a few. Worked with them to figure it out and we had no luck. I also tried Vegas 11 at one point as a demo and still had issues opening the same files.
I bought Avid Studio and never looked back... Vegas has been uninstalled for almost a year now.
