Sujet Low audio output on headphones.

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I had a Pioneer DJM3000 that I was using with a DNHC4500. RCA out from the 4500 to my Pioneer. I noticed that i would have to turn up the headphone volume almost all the way to get a usable output. Thinking that my mixer was just old and starting to go out, I upgraded to a Rane MP26. Im still using the 4500 for control only. I have the sound settings to use the ASIO drivers for my MP26, my headphone output is STILL low, I have to crank it all the way to max to have any usable output. Is there a setting that controls the headphone volume?

Its not my headphones, cuz i've checked em on other mixers and they are loud!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

For anyone that has had this issue with this particular mixer. I just spoke to Mike May from Rane and he says that this is a digital mixer and does not have a very hot output. His suggestion was to use a headphone that has a higher sensitivity or maybe find a headphone amplifier for more output. Hopes this helps everyone.

You can also use the VDJScript : "headphone_gain" and affect it to a knob
