long time no post, haha
i'm using my cdj-900s as usb controllers
with a djm-700 in midi mode
mixing videos...
love it
sound is awesome too
one thing though with the cdjs
(as mentioned in controller mode)
is there a way to change the default mapping of the platters
so the pitch doesn't change while nudging in vinyl mode with master tempo "on" ?
i posted something like this in the "wishes and new features" section long time ago
http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/88244/Wishes_and_new_features/master_tempo_(keylock)_while_nudging.html
a little different though
the past one was with timecodes

hopefully with vdj 8 everything will be fixed
in the mean time...
same problem with my new setup
2 cdj-2000s (hdi mode)
1 djm-900-srt (midi mode)
pitch changes while nudging the side of the platter
(vinyl mode with master tempo on)
no pitch change usually when cdjs play cds, usb etc

VirtualDj is DESIGNED to perform this way. When Vinyl Mode is active then bending with the outer rim of the jog wheel will also alter the pitch to give a more realistic vinyl feeling.
This may or may not be changed in the future, however it is not a bug / issue rather a by design feature.
PS: If you turn Vinyl Mode off then both the jog and the outer rim should be able to perform pitch bending without altering the pitch of the track
