I am NOT complaining one bit but I forgot how many crashes happen on the mac systems. (All known by VDJ)
Coming out of BPM adjust, scanning tracks, reloading tags... seems to crash at every turn.
I am 100% sure that VDJ8 will be much better so I am patiently waiting.
Thanks again for all the hard work in updating the product. No one is more appreciative than I.

Not sure about the formats, because i do only use MP3 and MP4 ;-)
But the reload tag issue is new to me.
Can you please tell me what kind of file does cause the problem and maybe you can send us this file for a look?

Very random. I had to remove all the comments on some of my files and when I chose to reload the tags, it crashed.
I had several tracks selected so I am unsure which one.
I was also BPM'ing tracks at the same time.

Guess more the simultaneous BPM editing is the problem.
If you find a file which cause a crash during only erase/relod tag/comment please let me know.
When you tr yto use wma/wmv files, which also be part of the problem, please have a look into this.

I would bet you are correct.
I only use MP3's at 320, therefore, I won't needing the link. I convert an iTunes media to mp3.
Thank you again. I am sure that the rewrite will work out all of the VDJ problems on the Mac.

I know this can be done on the PC side but the ability to put playlists within folders would be very nice to have.
Hopefully we see that in VDJ8.

Please delete all files from clipbank side and then try to relod teh files again.

What kind of crash?
A crash with a Crash report or has just has VDJ shut down?
Normaly when VDJ does Crash you will get a Crash report from our side.
When not, it is normaly something VDJ external else who does VDJ force to "close".

I have never experienced one crash with VDJ on Mac since I switched to Mac in 2011. Before that I ran VDJ on PC, and since 2001 I have only experienced 3 crashes, and none since ver 6 of VDJ. I run music video, live camera, music, ambient videos, clipbank. Can you give us more info on your Mac? Which Mac are you running (ie. MacBookPro 8,2) what OSX you are running (ie 10.9.1), what other software do you have open at the same time, and what hardware you might have connected (ie controller, sound card, external video adapter)? Is your media internal, or are you using an external drive?

these are known crashes. VDJ is well aware of how the software will crash on a mac.
If I told you the steps to take, you too will get a crash.
I am not worried, waiting patiently for the next version. No sense in fixing VDJ 7 now when we are days away from VDJ8.

With 10.7, and 10.8 the system was perfect, and I hab no crash.
Now its not perfect fpr working.

Great to hear, however, there are known crashes that happen every time on a Mac.
They are fixing them for VDJ8, I am sure.
Not worried one but. I know how to avoid them and I am confident that things will get fixed very soon.
