Sujet: Share Playlists?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

OK - new to DJ'ing (well - new to getting back into it from probably 10 years ago) and checking to see if anyone knows where or if they are willing to share some play lists. When I find myself building playlists it seems that I always put in the songs that I like vs. what people will want to hear. I want to break up my playlists to 80's, 90's, 2000's - current, country, and then one list that mixes each of the previously listed play lists. The places that I will play will like everything from 80's hair band, to shit-kickin country to rap...all in one night, so its not a single genera of music. I would guess that 70% of what I do will be auto-mix, 20% karaoke, and 10% live mix or requests.

Thanks...please don't hate on the new guy!

Check out mobile beat to start

Then maybe billboard charts for current stuff

I find lists are good to have places to pull from. I'll read the appearance of the crowd and pick from a few lists to see the reaction. Then I'll build my set from there. Every crowd is different even at the same place, same people even. For my electro house sets I don't even pick more then a few songs out. Each time is different depending how I feel and how the crowd reacts.
I think the best thing I've done for myself is I keep listening to my music. I record my sets and listen to them as well. The more I know the music, the better my sets get.

EDIT: There is also a Music forum here. In it is this thread
