dj 8 downloads and installs but wont open and 7 wont let me download the pro version even though i log in and have paid. and the free version will only work for ten minutes as I am using a pioneer ddj-sb

Please give more detail about "won't open". What exactly happens?
If by any chance you have previously installed a copy of VDJ 8 that was obtained from elsewhere, then you will have to undo what that did to your system first. Use this addon to clean your hosts file.
You are a subscriber member, which only allows use of VDJ 8. Subscription licenses do not exist for VDJ 7.

Please update your grafic card driver if the VDJ process is starting but then immediately gets killed.
