I just installed VDJ7 and VDJ8 on a brand new laptop. Both installed to the same folder. I copied over the database files from my old laptop. I have the exact same path on my new laptop as my old laptop. When I open VDJ7 on my new laptop I see all the song infos EXACTLY like they are on my old laptop. But when I open VDJ8 on my new laptop, the songs have lower "play counts" than on my old laptop. Any suggestions? Thank you

VirtualDj 7 and VirtualDj 8 use different databases.
When VirtualDj 8 runs for a first time on a system that there are not any V8 databases it looks for V7 databases and converts them to V8 format.
After that the two programs use their own databases and having differences is normal.
If among the data you copied over there was and your v8 databases from your previous system then VirtualDj did not convert anything on your new system as the data was already present.
