Sujet Latency Issues with latest build?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Im definitely noticing some latency issues regarding precision in scratching with the latest build. Just wanted to mention it. I can "work around it" by changing my technique a bit, but its not quite as precise as it used to be, lagging behind just a smidge.

I'm Having the same issue. I noticed it when testing for virtual dj radio. I'm not a perfect scratcher but this made me sound much worse.

Can you identify with which Build it started?

Hi Y'all, I'm have same issues with the current update. Currently using V8.1 pc built 2828.1112. Even worst, when working with one channel, it interferes with the other, and can hear the latency/ scratchy noise on the master out. I switched to my other computer which is running the 2821.1097 and that one is working fine. How do I roll back the updates until this issue get fixed?

A Man and His Music, thanks for the link and sorry for the double post earlier. Update ---- I upgraded to the v2832 and it is responding slightly better than the previous version the v2828. But the issue is slightly there ie, when I scratch or spin one the jog wheel, it affects the other channel, either side, also when hit hot-cue pad. I switched back to the second computer, did the same hard test on it, with zero interference. BYW I'm using DDJ-SZ. Thanks for all your help. Hope another update comes out soon.

What's the difference in the computers? Did you try to roll back to 2821.1097, on the first computers, to see if it's better, so they can try to reproduce?

Yes we need to know first if it's due to the update of the Build or the update of the mapper or otherwise if it's something else

The first computer is a which is the main one I use is a Dell Lat E6510 with an Intel 7 Core vPro Windows 7 Ultimate, the other is an HP pavillion Intel 5 core. Yes I did downgrade back to the 2821.1097 and it is still glitchy.

Ok I have an update on the issues I was having. I had to put on my IT Hat -----I went to the Configurations Settings, then to Options & Tweaks, then, Performance. I change the pitchQuality to 0, and the scratchFilterQuality to 8. They were respectively set at 2 and 6. The pitchQuality is fastest at the 0 setting, the default is said to be 8. So far so good with or without the controller. V8.1 B2832.1112 seems to be responding fine, very smooth and on point, scratching or cuing. No interference either. I don't know why it was not set at those values to begin with. Hope this helps others having similar issues. But I will keep you all posted should the behavior changes this weekend. Thank you all for your responses. Now I out to the next issue on How to make the PADS Colored permanently without using the POI Editor for every track or cue set. Any ideas?
