I think I have just seen what you mean, so remove the last line in one and in the grayed out writing it says not connected, so I need to get this connected somehow,
And this would be a laptop issue rather than VDJ.?

I have been playing around, and I can get the laptop to recognise the line in when I unplug the RCA from the mixer, as soon as I plug it back in, it tells me not plugged in.?
Is the mixer not compatable with my laptop or do I need something in line to send the signal.?

You should be able to get something by using the "Stereo Mix" option. This records whatever's playing through the interface, so if you have a line input then the stereo mix should be that signal. This is assuming that the line input volume control (if there is one) is raised, and you are able to hear the line input signal through headphones plugged in to the output of that same interface.
By the way, you may find it better to use the booth output of the DJM because it has its own dedicated volume control - you can lower the level if it's too much for the computer line input.

Thanks Groovindj,
I have ordered up a numark io2 interface.
So hopefully can try that tomorrow when it arrives and see if it solves my problem
