I was using a Pioneer DDJ-SX but have had to change to my Kontrol S2 for a little while but the master output is super low compared to the SX. With the SX I ran the master volume in the software and the controller at around 50% and the limiter at -3db. However with the S2 I have the master in the software at 100% and the controller at near 100% and changed the limiter at the default setting rather than minus 3db and the output still isn't that loud. This means I have read line the controller with no head room when playing live.
Is there anything else I could do in the software to increase master signal without clipping etc. Is there a way to increase the master out without affecting audio quality?

Unfortunately, no.
You have maxed everything on the "digital" domain and everything else would introduce distortion, or would alter the dynamic range of your songs.
I would suggest you to use a hardware EQ after your console to boost the pre-amp signal and restore all other settings back.
