After updating to v8.2 b3573 my controller has no definition file and can't connect to system. Its connected in the audio/midi setup on my mac and is visible as a sound card on virtual dj, but inside the controller settings window nothing is there and i can't control the software from the device. I reinstalled virtual dj 8 twice still no help, tried it on pc works fine same version v8.2 b3573 ...

Any chance its set to "Ignore" from the top-right Mapping drop-list ?

Seems to be a problem on mac trying to update from b2857 to the newer one. Have to delete the old one (trash VirtualDJ 8.1) and install VirtualDJ 8.2 to get it right this time.
Older b2857 does not support NS7III.
