When looking at the "remain" counter, it doesn't take any notice of the way that automix can drastically shorten a song (sometimes by choice!) - is there any plan to bugfix the remain counter so that it takes into account the way that automix is going to mix the two tracks... I attach a screengrab showing the issue. It's slightly annoying that's all!!!

Automix Editor can help in these cases

or the POI Editor to manually edit the Mix "Fade|Cut|Full" Start|End points of a track in case VirtualDJ has faulty placed those.

hi DJDAD,
that's not what the issue is.... I always edit the POI's so that automix is forced to use the places where I want it to mix the tracks - the issue is that the "remain counter" is set for the "end of the track" rather than when the track will "automix". Wouldn't it make more sense for the "remain" to disclose when the track is going to fade?

Well, what makes sense in Automix is to see how much Remain Time in Total the entire Automix List has, which is available in the Automix List of Sideview and also takes the "real" times into account. Even though the Times you see in the Deck is not taking those into account, i still fail to see how useful that is. You have chosen the "auto-pilot", so why is useful to see how much time is remained till the next auto-mix ?

if you want to talk into the microphone you may need to know how long you have until the track fades. In the above example it states over a minute left ( in reality only 15 seconds to the fade into the next song)

It's not a bug, remain time is how long to the end of the track.
You know how long your fade time is, you can see when it starts.

DJDAD is correct - the automix sidelist does give an accurate timing of when the list will begin and when each track will begin. So... there must be a way of changing the "deck" so that when "automix" is active it accurately gives us a remainder to when the mix will fade into the next track. When automix is inactive it makes sense to show the remain for the entirety of the track.
