I have a question in regards to managing my music library outside of VirtualDJ. Occasionally I'll need ti change a folder name after it's been added to the Virtual DJ database - and the tracks inside have been played previously in Virtual DJ.
I'm familiar with removing a folder from the Database (remove from DB) - but when the new folder gets added - it doesn't have any play history - because obviously VDJ thinks it's a new folder. Is there a way to have VDJ learn that the new folder replaces the old folder? Or do I need to manually edit the database.xml file?

I'm not sure if VDJ 7 has the option already, but if possible rename your folders, move and copy the files from within the VDJ browser.
That way the database gets updated and all infos are still available.
