So I discovered last night while recording a mix that when I'm listening to the song on the opposite deck of what's playing regardless of where cross fader and/or channel volume is it will record onto the mix such as when the cross fader is set in the middle. I'm using a dell laptop with either my vms4 or vms2 (last night was with vms2). Has this happened to anyone else? If so how did you fix such issue?

If your setup uses an external mixer configuration, then you cannot record a mixed signal in VDJ - because the internal mixer is not being used.
You need to record from the output of your mixer.

I'm using the VMS driver.I just got done with a thorough sound test. I hooked up my deck to a powered speaker while recording. Now I faded from one song the other both by cross fade L to R, as well as by volume level with the fader centered. On the speaker it sounds perfect, yet on the recording, it never picked up the fade between songs...
