If I'm using automix with a playlist whilst using say slideshow then when the song changes the second effect such as text is switched off???
Also another effect is selected, and last night started!
I got a shock seeing myself facing my laptop on the projector screen!!!!!!!
At first I thought Don's plugin was the cause, so I deleted his software. However now the camera is selected. Hm I've disabled that in Win 10 settings.
I'm running the latest vdj version ..ending in 63 I think as recommended by djdad to resolve Deezer issues. However this problem has been there for a while.

I'm testing it now and its perfect..without my XDJ R1 and Traktor F1 connected.
Hm I suppose it could be something to do with the F1.
While I was using my Akai mini I had no such problem.
Its getting a bit much when I appear "face on" on my LARGE projector screen LOL.
I'm betting that the return of the Akai gets rid of the problem!!!
Hm I've changed the F1 mapping..I think it's something I've modified.

Hm ..Loop Roll managed to switch itself on last night, that caused me some confusion.
It's odd, in the past effects have been selected in the master slot, and others turned off, but never switched on.
To achieve stability I disconnected from the Internet.

When I put "video_fx_select" on a knob when turned it moves through the available effects in the slot..but it also switches off the already active effects?????
So say I'm running slideshow and I want to put text over the top so I rotate the knob..but it then turns off the slideshow????
"video_fx" would turn an effect in the slot on/off. Could that explain the on/off thing with which I'm having trouble?
I suspect a bug.

That's the difference between fx_select abd fx_select_multi
Multi allows multiple effects to be active at the same time

I'm confused for the moment.
I thought I saw a "video_fx_select_multi" option yesterday but its not there now.

There isn't, but as you can see in the help from effect_select_multi, you can achieve the same with that:
effect_select_multi "video"
effect_select_multi "video"

I did a simple copy and paste to filter 4 (knob) on the F1 but it did not enable the selection of the video effect.
The other script works but switches all the video effects off.
I've got no time now..it will have to wait.

Maybe below..I'll try it. Something is wrong.
effect_select_multi "video_fx"
The manipulation of video effects is very important to a video dj. It needs to be fully controlled via knobs, buttons, and faders. Using a laptop touchpad is inadequate. An interesting example is given by the text effect which can be made larger or smaller, and moved up or down smoothly using knobs to control the effect parameters. I find video effect control is more important to me than audio effect control which I rarely use. If I want to modify the music I can add and subtract elements such as a kick drum or whatever. Audio subtraction is of course done using the channel eq's.
